Remembering better days...vol.1

A few years ago, going on a trip abroad during vacation, wasn't that difficult. Nowadays, due to financial difficulties, we can't afford the same "luxuries" as before. I don't know about other counties, but in Greece this is the case.
Is really a trip abroad luxury? Is it so bad that being in our peak we want to "live" by doing the things we like and don't just exist or survive...?
My generation is destroyed. Thirty five-forty five years old professionals and scientists with University degrees, Masters and Doctorates are just unemployed...
I hope my children will have a better adult life.

Travelling is the only thing I always wanted to do, and the only thing I miss now...

Let's remember a trip to London!

                                                    The famous Tower Bridge

Of course the red phone bοοths

The funny dressed guards at the Tower of London

The anonymous poets wall at Notting Hill

                                                    London through the London Eye!

Unknown artists...

Getting beaten by Hulk at Madame Tussauds

Now that I'm feeling better, I think I'll show you some of the jewelry I made.

This is a beautiful bracelet with green crystal beads and a horse charm. Makes me somehow happy! Maybe it's the green color, the color of life, renewal and nature. Or maybe it's the little horse. I love horses!

This is a wire bracelet, shaped as a heart. to remind me of the people I love and love them back!!
Well, hello!

This is my first post. I'm not sure what to write about. I'm overwhelmed with the news about the Syrians trying to survive, looking for a new place to call home. And the other countries don't want them. I see children crying next to their parents, hungry, tired. I see dead children. I see hundreds of drowned people, and I'm thinking how lucky I am to be able to have a home, my beloved family besides me, to keep them all safe...

Let's take a moment to say THANK YOU for all the good things we have in our life and stop winning ...life can get really hard.
